Thought of the Day

Well said, Ben. Well said.

Magnet picked up on our trip to Boston specially for Micha and Kai, my favorite East German, not-particularly-familiar-with-God-and-his-work dudes.

Thought of the Day

This one actually wasn't sent from Natalie for a change (though I do prefer hers :), but I certainly did think of her when I found and bought it in Edinburgh earlier this year! It happily reminded me of our fantabulous sister trip to the Champagne region of France a few years ago (which Nat will post about soon in a Travel Thursday post, I hope!) and I couldn't resist overpaying for the pink, sparkly, true words. They beyond belong on our bar cart, don't you think?

So what are you waiting for? Fill up a glass of bubbly and let's toast to all the things that make us smile today. Negativity be damned, we've got champagne.

Thought of the Day

As Natalie has mentioned, she loves to send me ridiculous/kickass cards in the mail sporadically and I love to receive them. This one arrived on a particularly grumpy day of mine recently and sent me into a much-needed laughing fit. Which is pretty much what mail from your sister should always result in, am I right?

Card from oh my word (ps. the back is great, too; it says "made in the usa, dammit")

Thought of the Day

In case you weren't yet aware...

I feel like Barney Stinson would totally agree.

The card is courtesy of Natalie, of course. Cuz she ALWAYS, without fail, sends me the most awesome cards (and magnets :). And they are promptly hung on the coolest part of our fridge, right next to the sink, so I can always see them:

Oh, and before you go back to practicing being awesome, you HAVE to check out where this quote came from (so very un-Barney Stinson)! Can't say I ever would've guessed it...
